BSA Motors of Chennai based Murugappa group and TI of India has launched two electric bikes in Auto Expo 2010 at Pragati Maidan , New Delhi - " Edge " and " Roamer able " " Edge " costing around Rs. 35,500 and coming in 4 variants. " Roamer able " is exclusively for disabled persons and have first ever in-built reverse mechanism with just a switch operation. It will be launched by this month end and will be costing around Rs. 35,300 and coming with 4 different colors. It can reach a maximum speed of 40 KMPH and also has economy mode where it can be run at 25 KMPH and get more range per single charge. The Battery is completely maintenance free and can be charged in 6-8 hours. At the Auto Expo 2010, BSA Motors has also exhibited its existing line of products - Smile, Diva, Street Rider, Roamer (NXG) and Roamer (NUO).
