Hero Electric launched three new Electric bike models

Hero Group’s Hero Electric launched three new Electric bike models in Auto Expo 2010 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi  - Optima Plus, E-sprint and Zippy.

“Optima Plus “is launched aiming at physically challenged persons. It has special features line side wheel shockers with independent suspension systems. The price of this vehicle is around Rs.33,000 in Delhi. It comes with colour variants Classic black and Burgundy Red

“E-Sprint” is the second model launched at this venue. This has got new features like cell phone charger, front disc brakes, large storage box capacity, sensor braking system etc. E-sprint has maximum speed of 45 Kmph and delivers range of 65 km per single charge. Telescopic shock absorbers provided with this vehicle withstand toughest Indian road conditions to give a comfortable ride.

The third model is “Zippy”, which offers a 70 km per charge and a, axiom speed of 25 km per hour. Its drive train has less than 250W Brushless DC Motor and controller for noiseless drive. Zippy has additional feature of swapping the batteries in less than a minute, to double the drive range of the bike. In addition it has got a rear carrier which can carry heavy loads. Its price is Rs.17,900 in Delhi and available Burgundy Red
